Hotell Högland was built in 1964. We have since then been known as one of Sweden’s leading business and conference hotels. Our location, 50 metres from the railway station in the centre of south Sweden, makes us reachable within three hours by 80 percent of the national population.
We constantly strive to improve standards and this process is done with the intention to protect the originality of the house as long as it is possible. Having said that, new technology and improved comfort will always be our priority.
Please enjoy our newly refurbished dining rooms, bar and lounge. We also offer our hotel guests a relaxing wellness department with jacuzzis, sauna, massage chairs and also a gym.

Umbrellas and walking poles are available to borrow.

A varied selection of pillows and duvets for special requirements are available.

Bathrobe and slippers are available for rent.

Non alcoholic drinks and snacks can be ordered around the clock.
Laundry / Ironing
Machine wash: Leave no later than 11:00 a.m. the day before.
Dry Cleaning: Leave no later than 3:00 p.m. two weekdays before. See separate price list.
Ironing room is located on the 6th floor.
Shoe Shine
Shoeshine-machine is available on the 2nd floor, just outside the lift.
If you wish to get your shoes polished you can leave them in the reception for a cost of 250 SEK/pair.
Internet
Complimentary wireless internet connection throughout the hotel.

Guestroom room number.
When you check out, the telephone will automatically be closed for phone calls outside the hotel, however you can still call within the hotel.
International calls
1. Lift the receiver and wait for the tone.
2. Dial 0 and wait for the tone.
3. Dial 00 followed by the country code.
4. Wait for a new tone and dial area code and telephone number.
NOTE! To most countries you should leave out the first digit in the area code if it is a 0, 8 or 9. If you need help with an international call, dial 99 to reach the reception.
Wake-up Call
How to order wake-up call:
1. Lift the receiver; wait until you hear the tone.
2. Dial * 55 * xxxx # (xxxx = the time you wish to be called, by four digits, e.g. 0730)
3. Wait for the dial tone and then replace the receiver.
To cancel your wake-up:
1. Lift the receiver; wait until you hear the tone.
2. Dial # 55
3. Wait for a new tone and then replace the receiver.
If you want to check the wake-up time you have booked, please contact the operator.
Parking
Heated garage is in the hotel basement. Entrance from ”Järnvägsgatan”.
Hotel guests have access to free parking in the yard, subject to availability.
Please note that a parking permit is required. The permit can be collected from the reception.
Exercise
Nice exercise trails approx 250 metres from the hotel. Map is available in reception.
Walking poles can be borrowed from the reception.
Fitness center is located in the wellness area (open 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.).

Wellness
Available on the upper basement floor (lift PW). There is a sauna, whirlpools, footbath and massage chairs.
Hotel guests have free entrance to the wellness area all days from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. At other times please contact reception.
Swimsuits are available for hire from the reception.
